deleteInstance now removes history rows for that vmid before removing
the instance. importInstances clears all history before replacing
instances. Prevents stale history appearing when a vmid is reused.

Delete Branch "fix/delete-clears-history"

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
